Resident Colorado Mountain Dogs

Why CMDs?
They are purpose bred to suit smaller homesteads - compared to other livestock guardian breeds they should bark and wander less, and be more friendly towards people (but able to discern when someone is up to no good).

We are a registered farm with the Colorado Mountain Dog Registry.  Our farm name changed in early 2024 from Cedar Creek Homestead to Wild Wood Homestead and our first litter of CMDs out of Tyche/Guard will retain their "CCH" prefix.  You can visit our breeder page in the registry here: CMDR Registry Breeder Page

RLT Tyche of WWH

G2, born Oct 2020

Tyche is poultry safe, friendly, and a discerning barker.  She keeps an eye on the sky for aerial predators to keep her flock safe.  Tyche was an excellent momma to her litter of pups and is the sweetest girl.  She has a super easy to care for coat and no back dews.
